For those interested in cultural experiences, you may visit the Nairobi National Museum, which showcases Kenya’s history, art, and prehistoric findings, or take a relaxed nature walk at the Karura Forest Reserve.

In the evening, unwind at the hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara – Evening Game Drive

After an early breakfast, your journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve begins. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where you can admire the stunning escarpment and take breathtaking photos.

As you approach Maasai Mara, the landscape changes into vast rolling savannahs, with occasional sightings of zebras, giraffes, and Maasai herders grazing their cattle. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check in and enjoy a hearty lunch before heading out for an evening game drive.

Maasai Mara is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), and during the golden hours of the evening, predators start becoming active, increasing your chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the hunt. As the sun sets over the endless plains, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Your day begins with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness the big cats in action as they take advantage of the cool temperatures to hunt. With the vast open plains stretching as far as the eye can see, you will come across elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, and gazelles grazing peacefully.

Mid-morning, you will visit the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles thrive, and during the Great Migration (July–October), you can witness thousands of wildebeests and zebras making the treacherous crossing. A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to enjoy your meal surrounded by nature.

After a short rest, you will continue exploring different parts of the reserve, searching for rare sightings like the elusive leopard or black rhino. By late afternoon, you will return to the lodge for a relaxed evening, dinner, and storytelling around the campfire.

📍 Optional Activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari at sunrise for a once-in-a-lifetime aerial view of Maasai Mara (extra cost).

Accommodation: Basecamp Maasai Mara (Full Board)
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Naivasha – Boat Safari & Walking Safari

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Maasai Mara and embark on a 5-hour drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge and have lunch overlooking the lake.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you can observe hippos wallowing in the water and fish eagles swooping down to catch fish. The calm waters create a perfect setting for relaxation and birdwatching.

After the boat safari, you will proceed to Crescent Island, a unique wildlife sanctuary where you can take a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes—a truly intimate and peaceful wildlife experience.

As the sun sets, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night.

Upon arrival, you will check in, have lunch, and take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. You will have the opportunity to see elephants moving in large family groups, with Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak forming a dramatic backdrop.
