Overview:
Day 1: Pick Up from Kampala and Transfer to Kibale forest National park
After breakfast, you will be greeted by our team, dressed in Amakula African Safaris uniforms, for a warm meet and greet. We will ensure all your belongings are securely packed in the vehicle as we begin our journey. Your driver-guide will provide a detailed briefing about the itinerary, covering the entire trip up to your final day when we drop you off at the airport.
At 5:30 AM, we’ll depart for Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, we’ll make several stops to enjoy nature, visit safe restrooms, take photos, and find a suitable spot for lunch if needed. Upon arrival in Kibale, you’ll head to the briefing center for an informative session. You will then be assigned a ranger guide who will lead you into the forest to track the primates.
Once the tracking is complete, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you can rest and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Though the forest is densely vegetated, it is intersected by several animal pathways that provide access to visitors.
