Day-1: Transfer to Musanze

In the morning after your breakfast, you shall be transferred to Musanze where you will have your lunch and proceed to the border for clearances to cross to Uganda Bwindi impenetrable forest national park.

The distance is approximately 80-90 kilometers, taking around 2 to 3 hours by road, depending on traffic and road conditions. The journey offers a chance to experience Rwanda’s beautiful terrain before arriving at Akagera, a renowned park known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. The transfer is a great way to begin the adventure of exploring the park’s rich biodiversity. If the time allows us on arrival, you shall do the afternoon or evening boat cruise on lake Ihema, after which you shall check in to your accommodation.

Day-6: Full day game drive around the Akagera national park.

This drive can be a memorial transfer trying to recall whatever you may have seen back stage, and it’s an ideal way to relax and reflect on the safari experience before departing to mark the end of out trip.
