After the trek, you’ll return to your lodge for a well-deserved lunch and some relaxation time as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3: – Boat cruise at Kazinga Channel -Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla trekking Activity and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You’ll need to wake up early at 6:00 AM to prepare for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Take time to get organized and gather all essential gear, including your camera, binoculars, insect repellent, and anything else you’ll need. Dress appropriately in recommended attire—long khaki or jean trousers, a long-sleeved shirt, waterproof hiking boots, a rain jacket, durable gloves, and a wide-brimmed hat. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, pack your lunch and enough drinking water, and then meet your safari guide, who will transfer you to the park information office. There, you’ll join other trekkers for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of mountain gorilla trekking, how to behave in the presence of the gorillas, and what to expect during the experience. You’ll be assigned a gorilla family group to track, along with a UWA ranger and a forest guide.
We also recommend hiring a porter to assist with carrying your backpack and any other gear you may need during the trek. After the pre-trek briefing, your guided forest walk begins in search of the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Once the trek is complete, you’ll be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight stay.
